Banbury Bulls forwards coach Ian Heywood gave a cautious thumbs up to his side’s 17-13 victory at Aylestone St James in Midlands 2 East South.
The win gives Banbury three points from two matches as they seek to achieve their top-two target.
Heywood said: “We clearly have much still to work on, but I was pleased with the way the side stuck to their task to come from behind.
“This was a useful away victory against a Jimmies side that will ask several teams some very tough questions this season.”
