Abingdon United crashed out of the FA Cup on Tuesday night with a 3-1 second qualifying round replay defeat at Cirencester Town.
They paid the penalty for not winning at the first time of asking at Northcourt Road on Saturday.
Scott Griffin put Cirencester ahead on six minutes and Carl Brown made it 2-0 just before the break of a half in which they had at least a dozen chances.
Brown’s second settled the tie, although Anaclet Odhiambo pulled one back for Abingdon late on.
Cirencester visit Oxford City in the next round.
