Oxfordshire's Nick Rae-Welsh and Howard Watts captured the Home Counties Champion of Champions pairs title at Croydon.
The Headington duo had a frustrating wait after their semi-final opponents failed to turn up before beating Bucks pair Ray Gaskins and Edward Pilgrim 24-16 in the final.
Rae-Welsh and Watts picked up seven shots at a crucial stage to establish an advantage which they never relinquished.
Hagbourne’s Rex Moore, Alan Bowler, John Heapy and Paul Ryman captured the fours crown for Berkshire, beating Banbury Borough's Keith Holloway, Alan Prew, Richard Redford and Gary Lucas 23-17 in the final.
The Oxon side had beaten Middlesex 25-7 in the semis.
In the singles, Headington’s Mark Charlett, who was suffering from a knee injury after playing football in midweek, fought back from 11-1 down before losing 21-17 to Surrey's Mark Bishopp, who went on to take the title, in the last eight.
Oxon’s George Schwab arrived for a 10am start for the under 25s singles only to discover that due to opponents failing to turning up he was straight in to the final.
The Banbury Central ace then had to wait until 3pm before facing Surrey's Gareth McDonagh, who had played an earlier round, and lost 21-8.
