Abingdon Utd 5 (McCalmon 3, Mills 21, Beechers 36, Faulkner 70, Osborne-Ricketts pen 90)
Abingdon United stormed to the top of Division 1 South & West’s goalscoring charts while inflicting Cinderford’s sixth successive defeat.
Andy Slater’s side have now hit the back of the net 17 times in the league.
They took three minutes to open their tally on Saturday with Julian McCalmon firing home from 25 yards.
John Mills double Abingdon’s tally, latching on to a through ball from James Organ to lob the keeper.
Lewis Sommers capitalised on some sloppy defending to pull a goal back for Cinderford, but Billy Beechers restored Abingdon’s two-goal cushion when he collected a poor punch out from the home keeper and coolly slotted home from 20 yards.
As half-time approached, Cinderford’s Michael Noakes slid home at the far post to reduce the arrears.
Abingdon’s fourth goal came in the 70th minute when James Faulkner ran past two defenders before shooting home.
A minute from time Nick Thorne was brought down in the box, and Elliott Osborne-Ricketts slotted home the resulting penalty for No 5.
