Totton & Eling 2 (Murphy 70, Watts)
Ardley Utd 3 (Bryan 5, Stidder 28, Clarke 55)
Ardley United almost let slip a three-goal lead before clinching victory over Totton & Eling, of the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, in the second qualifying round of the FA Carlsberg Vase.
Troy Bryan opened the scoring when he robbed a defender before shooting home from 20 yards.
Andrew Stidder doubled Ardley’s lead after running on to Jordan Ayris’s through ball, and when Danny Clarke fired home from Stidder’s cross after the break it looked game over.
But substitute Ben Murphy and Luke Watts reduced the deficit to give Ardley a late scare before they clinched a first-round tie against another Wessex League side, Moneyfields, on Saturday, October 3.
Kidlington 2 (Lovegrove 50, Quinton 63)
New Milton Tn 1 (Quirk 14)
Jack Quainton grabbed a second-half winner as Kidlington came from behind to beat Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division’s basement boys New Milton Town.
Simon Quirk fired the visitors into the lead after being left unmarked at the far post from a corner.
Adam Lovegrove equalised early in the second half with a shot across keeper Dan Loader, and Quainton’s cracking drive took a slight deflection before going in off the far post to secure a home tie against Bradford Town, of the Western League.
Halstead Tn 1 (Townrow 104)
Thame Utd 1 (aet) (Jones 107)
Mark Jones hit an equaliser in extra-time to earn Thame United a replay against Ridgeons Eastern Counties League side Halstead Town at AFC Wallingford tomorrow.
After normal time ended goalless, Halstead broke the deadlock when Lee Townrow scored with a near post header from a corner.
But Thame equalised when an Adam Rhodes free-kick was headed on by his brother, Nik, for Mark Jones to swivel and hit a powerful left-foot shot in to the bottom corner.
Bicester Tn 1 (Spaull 13)
Leverstock Green 3 (Wardle 50, Hammond 57, Griggs 76)
Bicester Town let slip a half-time lead as they went out to Leverstock Green, of the Molten Spartan South Midlands League.
Michael Spaull curled a free-kick into the top corner to give Bicester the lead.
But Matt Wardle equalised after the break, and then Ben Hammond fired Leverstock ahead.
Bicester’s exit was confirmed by Dan Griggs’ third goal for Leverstock, who even had the luxury of Lee Bircham missing a late penalty.
Hamble ASSC 3 (Wilson 35, Gregory 48, Roden)
Milton Utd 0
Milton United fell behind to their Sydenham Wessex League Division 1 opponents when Ashley Wilson slotted home after Paul West’s free-kick was parried by keeper Steven Howe.
West was also involved in Hamble’s second goal, crossing for Richard Gregory to volley in from eight yards.
Milton’s fate was sealed when James Roden beat Howe in a one-on-one situation.
