St Birinus School Weightlifting Club, Didcot, added to their growing reputation by winning an international club tournament in the Czech Repbublic.
Eleven teams of five lifters from Germany, the Czech Republic and Britain took part in the event at Sokolov, but it was St Birinus (pictured above), who came out on top.
The youngest of the team, Josh Cox, 15, recorded two personal bests, lifting 71kg in the snatch and 90kg in the clean and jerk.
Eddie Chambers, 17, did likewise with lifts of 77kg and 95kg, as did Robert Green, 17, with 83kg and 104kg.
Ben Watson, 19, recorded 120kg and 151kg (pb), while Peter Dutton, 19, despite being injured, lifted 96kg and 100kg to secure the victory.
Watson and Chambers won the best-lifter award for their age groups.
