Abingdon Town youngster Marc Gass has been ruled out for the entire season after suffering cruciate knee ligament damage, writes Kieren Bushnell.
The 18-year-old picked up the injury during last Saturday’s defeat against Reading Town, when he was stretchered off.
It was initially feared Gass had broken a leg, but scans confirmed liagment damage.
Jason Thomas (ankle) is also missing for Saturday’s FA Vase second qualifying round derby at Wantage Town.
Thame United welcome back Ben Connelly from illness for their trip to Essex to take on Halstead Town.
Luke Ricketts returns from a head injury, while new signings Greg Boult, Matt Higgs, Tom Goffe and Ed Barnett are all included.
