Bicesterand Oxford City AC veteran David Kuester struck gold at the Midlands British Masters Throwers Group Hammer Decathlon at Northwood Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent on Saturday.
And as an added bonus, Kuester recorded a personal best of 5,420 points in the 65+ age group on the way.

- WHITE Horse Harrier Richard Jegou meanwhile was competing at the St Mary's Richmond Open.
In what will probably be his last Shot competition as a vet 60, he managed to beat his personal best on three occasions, eventually throwing 11.49m.
He also threw the Hammer 30.88m & the Discus 33.45m.
