Bicester pressed the self-destruct button to crash to a heavy FTL Futbol Hellenic league Premier Division defeat.

Well-taken goals from Matt Blenford and Richard Oakey saw Bicester take a 2-1 lead after an early strike from Denel Thomas.

However goals from Jermaine Ferreira and Ben Moses gave the Nomads a 3-2 half-time lead.

In a stunning ten-minute period after the break, Bicester were hit by three strikes from Mark Janes, Moses and James Knight.

Nomads substitute Jemel Thomas completed the rout.

Abingdon Town lost at home to the leaders despite taking the lead inside the opening 30 seconds when Danny Thomas had surged forward before squaring to Graham Edney to slot home, Reading took a 2-1 interval lead through Mark Hughes and James Clark, and made it 3-1 just after the break through Will Bratt, following a mistake by home keeper Matt Dixon.

Abingdons Paul Alder scored direct from a corner to make it 3-2, but Abingdon’s chances of grabbing a point were hit, when they had to play the last ten minutes with nine men afterDixon was dismissed for swearing and midfielder Marc Gass was stretchered off.

Hook Norton 2 (Deveraux 48, 90)

Teenager Conor Deveraux scored from a corner in the last minute to earn Hook Norton their first point.

The 17-year-old had put Hooky into the lead from 35 yards just after half-time.

But two goals in five minutes from Kevin Lewis and Michael Duerden seemed to have snatched the win for Carterton.

An early goal from Tom Gooding gave Milton victory in their Division 1 East clash.

Gooding headed in after Matthew Drake’s shot had been parried.

A good save in ach half from Milton keeper Steve Howe enabled his side to hold on for the point.
