Horspath Hammers travel to South Wales tomorrow to take part in the British Team Championship finals day at East Newport.

First they race against Stoke in the second semi-final, with the winner taking on either Wednesfield or Poole, who contest the first semi.

Hammers won the trophy for the time in 2007, while Wednesfield are defending champions.

However, Horspath look strong, and will be led by British No 2 Steve Harris and No 3 Mark Boaler.

They recall Danny Harper and Rob Hunt from their regional league team for the meeting.

HORSPATH finished fourth in round three of the British Junior League at Poole.

A day later, they continued their fine run at the top of the South West League with a 107-71 victory at home to Hellingly Lions.

Mark Carmichael and Mike Morgans were unbeaten, with Dave Carmichael dropping only one point.

There were also good performances from youngsters Wayne and Lee Clarke and Matt Coulter.
