Oxfordshire Under 10s suffered an 89-run defeat at the hands of Berkshire.
Set a challenging total of 231-6 for victory, Oxon never looked like getting close, losing wickets regularly.
Berkshire opener Tom Scriven top-scored with 75, despite the best efforts of Jack Tomes, who took 4-7 from four overs and Sami Khawaja, whose four overs went for only ten runs.
Berkshire added 100 runs from the final 15 overs which proved too much for Oxon to overcome.
Only Jordan Garrett (33) and Tom Bishop (32) really got going for Oxfordshire, who were dismissed for 142 in the 40th over.
l OXFORDSHIRE Under 11s went down to a heavy nine-wicket defeat against Northants.
Put in to bat first on a damp wicket, Oxon were soon in deep trouble at 7-3.
Batsmen continued to fall at regular intervals and they never looked like setting a challenging score.
Their last two wickets fell with the score on 99, and with the pitch drying quickly, Northants easily sealed victory, albeit in 31 overs.
Aadam Samiullh claimed Oxon’s only wicket.
