North Cotswolds produced a classy display to claim the Ron Maudsley Memorial Trophy in devastating style at Bicester & North Oxford CC.
Abingdon Vale, who faced them in the final, struggled in the face of their relentless bowling attack and sharp fielding after being put in to bat.
Although they battled gamely, none of the Vale batsmen were able to impose themselves as North Cotswolds bowled them out for 63 in the last of their 20 overs.
North Cotswolds’ powerful batting line-up then took charge as they raced to the target in just seven overs, Darrell Williams leading the way with an unbeaten 31.
Earlier in the day, Aston Rowant had suffered a similar fate in the semi-finals.
After fighting their way to 76-9, Rowant could make no impression on the North Cotswolds batting as they reached the target without loss off 10 overs.
Williams again top-scored, this time hitting 32 not out.
The other semi-final proved to be a thriller.
Abingdon set a target of 93-4 with an unbeaten 33 from Thomas Harris the highlight.
Charlie Parker (30no) led a spirited reply from Thame which saw them needing nine to win off the last over.
But it proved just too much as Vale held on for a one-run victory.
North Cotswolds now go on to play the Buckinghamshire champions in the first of the national rounds on July 19.
