The Carp Class 2009 Summer League match was fished by 15 at Butler’s Hill in very hot and humid conditions, most of the carp were on top of the water, but it still fished well with a total of 189lb being weighed in.
Starting off with the pellet at five metres and then moving further out to the island, Dave Wilsdon caught carp, skimmers and roach for a winning 25.4.0.
Martin Blackman fished worm to the island and landed seven carp for a second-placed 22.14.0, all his fish coming from just 18 inches of water.
In third place with 19.4.0 was Graham Wilsdon, who fished pellet and had a mixed net of carp, roach and skimmers.
