Banbury set up a meeting with Oxford in the Cockspur Cup after a dramatic victory at Burnham.
They won through to the Home Counties Premier League quarter-finals of the Twenty20 event in an eight-over shoot-out caused by delays on the M40.
A lorry fire meant only five Banbury players reached the ground by the allotted start time of 6pm, and they were still two short at 7.15pm!
Burnham accepted an eight-over match at that point, with Steve Beck (28), Ashley Blanchard (24), Ed Phillips (21no) and Simon Hole (21) propelling Banbury to 101-3.
The hosts could manage only 87-5 in reply, with Jimmy Phillips (2-17) and Joe White (1-10) doing the damage with the ball.
