There were smiles galore as St Birinus Weightlifting Club dominated the British Under 13 Championships in Bristol with a host of medals, including four golds.
The Didcot-based-outfit achieved a clean sweep in the 12 years 45kg category, with Dominic Miles landing the gold, and Sam Aires and Jacob Heath filling the other medal positions.
They did likewise in the 13 years under 50kg class where Alex Johnson, Eoghan McDonagh and James Sayers filled the first three positions. Ben Marsden was fourth.
Birinus's other gold medals came from Josh Davis, in the 13 year 35kg event, and Matthew Leigh, who pipped clubmate Peter Blowfield in the 13 year 56kg class.
Conor Hogan claimed a silver in the 12-year 40kg body weight group, as did Jayme Granito in the 50kg class.
In the 13-year 45kg class, Jake Dobson, Ashley-el-Turk and George Ripley came second, third and fourth respectively.
