WHITE Horse Harriers won the under 11 boys’ team competiton in the Oxfordshire Junior Track and Field League meeting at Banbury.
Ryan Craze was fastest in the 75m with 10.7secs, setting a club record to finish second.
He then won the long jump in 3.75m.
White Horse’s 4x100m relay team broke the old club record by three seconds.
Phoebe Leech, set a new under 9 club record of 2.27 in the 600m, while Toby Bellerby won the under 13 boys’ 800m in 2.32.8 Gary Paterson broke his own shot put club record with a new mark of 9.24m.
Chloe Craze smashed the club under 13’s 200m record in 27.7 – a time that puts her ninth in the UK rankings.
BICESTER’S Jackson Curtis warmed up for the English Schools’ Championships at Don Valley Stadium, Sheffield on July 10-11 with victory in the under 17 javelin (53.25m) at the Oxfordshire Young Athletes League at Drayton.
Curtis, a pupil at Cokethorpe School in Witney, followed that up by winning the 100m in 11.8secs before taking the long jump title with a leap of 5.30m.
