Running back Chris Taylor starred in Oxford Saints’ 56-0 thrashing of Redditch Arrows in BAFL Conference Division 1 at Oxford RFC.
He rampaged through the Arrows’ defence, gorging himself on 126 yards and four touchdowns off 19 carries.
Quarterback Jay Taylor had his best day, passing for 229 yards and two touchdowns and one rushing touchdown.
Steve Belcher recorded the first touchdown and also added the extra point.
Two second quarter touchdown runs from Chris Taylor and an extra point from Belcher saw Oxford lead 20-0 at half-time.
After Matty Richards dived on a loose ball, Chris Taylor fired a scoring strike to Phil Ghouldie. Chris Taylor notched the two-point conversion, and then bulldozed his way into the end zone, and Belcher added the extra point.
In the fourth quarter, Gouldie posted his second touchdown after a 19-yard jinking run into the end zone. Belcher again converted.
Jay Taylor plunged over for the next touchdown, with Belcher once more slotting the extra point.
And Chris Taylor scampered in for his fourth touchdown, with Belcher again converting.
