Bradley Smith may be starting from the second row of the grid, but he is still confident of a good result at round seven of the 125cc world championship, the Alice Dutch TT in Assen today (Saturday).
The Oxfordshire teenager had been consistently fast, riding the Aspar Aprilia throughout practice, but got caught up in a hectic couple of laps at the end of the vital qualifying session and slipped to fifth fastest with Sandro Cortese grabbing his first pole.
“I’m confident and about a good result because we’ve been fast and really on the pace all weekend, “explained Smith, who lies second in the World Championship.
