Oxford UCCE won the BUCS Championship for the first time with a six-wicket victory over Cardiff UCCE in the final at Leek.
Leg-spinner Matt Watson (4-20) and off-spinner Ed Young (4-26) did the damage as Oxford – beaten semi-finalists four times – bowled Cardiff out for 159.
Duncan Bradshaw then hit 57 to set Oxford on the way to victory at 160-4.
Meanwhile, Oxford finished third in the UCCE Championship after beating Cambridge by three wickets on first innings.
