OXFORDSHIRE recorded a 129-116 victory over Sussex in their Home Counties League clash at Popes Mead.
The sides won three rinks apiece, but Oxon claimed the biggest triumphs.
Skip Jason King saw his rink go down 18-14 to Mike Law’s side, and Ian Snowdon’s team also lost, slipping to a 25-21 reverse against Chris Rolph.
But on rink three, Mark Charlett’s four stormed to an impressive 32-16 success.
Although Alan Ley’s side lost 28-13, Mike Petersen led his team to a 23-12 victory, while Colin Whitehead steered his rink to a 26-17 success.
