Paul Simpson, from Witney, has qualified for the Great Britain & Ireland PGA Cup team to play the United States in September at Carrick on Loch Lomond.
The West Berks pro secured his call-up after after finishing joint fifth in the Glenmuir PGA Professional Championship at Dundonald Links, near Troon, Ayrshire.
Simpson, who won the Glemnuir title last year, carded rounds of 72, 76, 79 and 73 on the windswept course for a 12-over-par total of 300 – nine shots behind winner James Lee (Caerphilly).
