Oxford suffered their first defeat of the season in Division 1 with a five-wicket loss against Radlett after being put in to bat on a greenish wicket at Roman Way.
The visitors took full advantage of the pitch to shoot Oxford out for 146.
Skipper Jason Harrison was the first to go with the score on 22, caught at slip by Leo Sandino-Taylor of Heath Paynter.
Oxford lost two more wickets in the 11th over with Chris Sandbach and Stuart Laudat both bowled by Shane Burger.
Nick Ferraby (44) and David Smith then added 37 for the fifth wicket before the latter was out just before lunch when Oxford were 108-5 off 32 overs.
Ferraby then fell to the first ball after lunch, lbw to Burger as the last five wickets went for 38 runs with Burger taking 5-46.
Radlett openers Sandino-Taylor and Kabir Toor put on 110 for the first wicket off 23 overs.
Sandino-Taylor hammered 79 from 74 balls, including 13 fours, before he was out lbw to Rupert Evans, the first of three wickets in five balls for the veteran off-spinner.
Evans claimed his fourth victim when he bowled Felix Walker, finishng with 4-34, and Toor’s painstaking innings finally came to an end when he was run out by Francois Vainker.
But Burger saw Radlett home in the 37th over, and the defeat now leaves Oxford in fourth place.
