Abingdon Vale produced a major shock as they knocked out Oxford Downs in the quarter-finals of the Under 13 Ron Maudsley Trophy.
Downs, unbeaten all season, could manage only a modest 78-4 from their 20 overs, Joel Washbourne-Calcutt scoring 30 not out.
But Vale seized their chance as Thomas Harris and Daniel Torrance both hit 27 to lead them to a four-wicket victory.
Freeland bowed out to Thame, despite making a respectable 99-7, thanks to Jack Possee (30no) and Rhian Todd (26).
However, Will Sutcliffe then hit 31 off 23 balls and Sam Alexander 30 as Thame won by nine wickets.
North Cotswold cruised through with an eight-wicket win over Buscot Park.
Rob O’Kelly top-scored with 31 not out in Buscot’s 94-8, but Jack Groves (30no) led North Cotswold home.
Reigning champions Aston Rowant reached the last four with an eight-wicket win at Shrivenham.
The hosts posted 92-6, before Andrew Tolson (33no) and Tom Condon (31no) led Rowant to victory in only 13 overs.
In the quarter-finals of the Ron Maudsley Plate, Oxford A saw off Horspath by 53 runs.
Batting first, Oxford rattled up 115-4, before restricting Horspath to 62-8, despite 30 not out from Daniel Todd.
Shipton eased through with an eight-wicket win over Oxford B.
The other semi-finalists will be Charlbury, who thrashed Eynsham by 97 runs, and Ducklington, who saw off Bicester & North Oxford by five wickets.
