SACRED Heart (Henley) defeated Ickford School by 39 runs in the final of the Oxfordshire Asda Kwik Cricket tournament, held at OUP Sports Ground, Jordan Hill.
Twelve teams from Oxfordshire and the surrounding area took part in the competition, with Sacred Heart defeating Dr Radcliffe’s by 18 runs in their semi-final and Ickford seeing off St Edmunds by 24 runs in the other.
In an exciting and competitive final, Sacred Heart posted 269, before restricting Ickford to 230 in reply.
The cups and medals were presented by Oxfordshire’s cricket development manager Rupert Evans.
