Oxfordshire Under 11s were beaten by 64 runs against Buckinghamshire at Farnham Royal.

The home side rattled along at almost five an over throughout as they posted an impressive 219-8 from their 45 overs.

A huge score looked on the cards as Bucks stood at 202-4, but a fine spell from Jack Davies, who took 4-25 and William Routledge (2-17) saw Buckinghamshire stumble late in their innings.

Oxon got off to a slow start in their reply, largely thanks to tight Bucks bowling.

After losing Daniel Patey for one, Leo Boddington and Aadam Samiullah took the score to 54, before Boddington was bowled for 17.

Oxon then lost two wickets to great slip catches, and at 80-4, they were well behind the run rate.

Samiullah batted well to score 48, and with Charlie Scott-Kerr (23), the duo put on 35.

But two more quick wickets fell and Oxfordshire finally fell to 155 all out, despite a quickfire 24 from Graham Beer.
