Jamie Perkin will make his Oxford debut when they host Radlett in Division 1 on Saturday.
The former Oxford Downs player comes in for Todd Hutcheson, who is unavailable and will keep wicket.
Their other change sees David Smith, who is fit after a thumb injury replace Graham Charlesworth, who has Oxford UCCE commitments.
Oxford captain Jason Harrison said: “Jamie has done very well in our second team over the last few weeks.
“He deserves a go and it is a real reward for him.
“Radlett can be a dangerous side. Last week they got 346, they are no mugs.
“We will be confident and do the things we usually do.”
As for last week’s dramatic two-wicket derby victory at Banbury, Harrison added: “We played very well in the first hour and then did reasonably after that.
“We were a little bit more relaxed than them and that got us home.”
Batsman Eddie Phillips is recalled for Banbury’s trip to Slough, while Chris Smith returns.
Andrew Sabin drops down to the seconds, while Luke Ryan is playing for Oxford UCCE.
Skipper Ian Hawtin said: “Eddie has been scoring runs for the seconds, so this gives him an opportunity.”
Hawtin saw his team subside to 1-4 before eventually losing to Oxford.
He said: “I don’t think those sorts of things happen very often. Hopefully we have got that out of the way.
“We did really well to get where we did. We took ten points out of the game, which at 1-4 looked extremely unlikely.”
Aston Rowant captain Wes Morrick is backing his side to keep challenging in Division 2 West ahead of their match at Basingstoke & North Hants.
Their eight-wicket thrashing of Thame Town took Rowant up to fourth in the table and confidence is high.
Morrick said: “I like to think we are getting better by the game.
“The guys are realising their potential. I said at the start of the season that we would be up there.
“We went into the season with a lot of guys looking for survival, but we are fully out there to win it now.
“I think you got a lot of evenly matched sides in the league.
“It depends on how teams perform on the day.”
Rowant bring in Chris Davis, Ryan Dutton and Lee Lewis, with Paul Plumridge, Paul Humphreys and Dave Ridgley dropping out.
Thame Town host Finchampstead, hoping to put last week’s paltry total of 67 all out at Aston Rowant behind them.
“We are unchanged from last week, but looking to bat a lot better, said skipper Rob Brooks.
“I think it happens to lots of teams once a season. It is part and parcel of being a young team.
“A couple of experienced players were out early including myself and Manoj Parmar.
“It is a case of settling everyone down.
“I am going to change the batting order around a bit.”
