A Banbury side, missing five regulars, crashed out of the ECB National Club Championship at the third-round stage with a 77-run defeat at Walmley.
Walmley made 220-8 in their 45 overs, with Chris Booth (64) top-scoring and Jimmy Phillips, Ollie Murrey and Ashley Blanchard taking two wickets apiece.
In reply, Banbury were 56-1, but only Simon Hole (43) and Murrey (28) made decent scores as they fell to 143 all out in the 41st over, Paul Griffiths taking 4-48.
David Smith hit 32 off 15 balls as Oxford edged out Ealing by two wickets in the Conference Cup second round.
Replying to Ealing’s useful 146-5 off 16 overs, Smith saw Oxford home with one ball to spare.
