SOPHIE Lloyd was presented with the Young Harrier Female Shield at White Horse Harriers’ annual awards ceremony after representing Oxfordshire in the Inter-Counties Championship.
Other girls’ trophies were presented to Emma Hazell (under 9), Eloise Graham (under 11), Lloyd (under 13), Bethan Murphy-Hand (under 15s).
Boys awards went to Matthew Druce (under 9), Christopher Druce (under 11), Zack Oliffe (under 13), Anthony Holmes (under 15) and James Belcher (under 17).
Tim Traynor took the Young Harrier Male Shield after his third place in the Under 20 category at the County Championship.
Paul Jegou won the Margaret Strange Cross-Country Trophy after his senior men’s triumph in the Wessex League, while the veteran men’s cross-country champion trophy went to John Peake.
