A superb unbroken century partnership between openers Juliet Gardner and Laura Marshall saw Oxfordshire Under 13 girls to a brilliant ten-wicket victory over Buckinghamshire in their ECB County Championship clash at Winchmore Hill.
Oxfordshire won the toss and had no hesitation in putting Buckinghamshire in to bat.
And the decision proved to be a good one as both Bucks openers fell without scoring in the first two overs.
The home side were soon in deep trouble at 23-4.
To their credit, they fought back with a fine 54-run partnership between Chloe Hill (38) and Laura Sandy.
But when they both fell, the Buckinghamshire innings subsided to 114-9 after their 30 overs.
Gardner and Marshall then took a liking to the Bucks attack as they batted with great confidence to cruise to the target in 18.4 overs.
This leaves the girls unbeaten this season ahead of their home match against Berkshire today.
