Adam Wootton and Mark Stevens clinched Oxford City’s FH Taylor Bowl in a play-off.
Wootton’s experience made the difference in the 36-hole foursomes event as they edged out Keith Henley and Andy Hooker after both pairs finished on nett 141.
It needed Wootton to hole a ten foot putt on the last regulation hole to set up the play-off.
The competition saw Southfield’s new ninth tee box used for the first time in competition, which extends the par five hole by over 50 yards.
Emily Price finished second in her age group at the US Kids Golf European Championship.
The nine-year-old Waterstock member and Garsington Primary School pupil hit a score of 113 following three nine-hole rounds at East Lothian.
Mike Norton won Tadmarton Heath’s qualifier for the Virgin Atlantic PGA National Pro-Am Championship.
He and professional John Stubbs will compete in the regional final at Frilford Heath on June 22 alongside Bicester qualifiers Ian Cox and head pro Peter Thompson.
Spencer Dawkins and pro Paul Bryant will represent Waterstock, while amateur Anthony Wright Adam Souter progress from The Wychwood.
