Burford member Abi Laker (pictured) won the girls’ event in the South of England Schools Championship at Hadden Hill.
Laker, 15, battled her way through some wet and windy conditions to card two solid five-over-par rounds of 77.
The Henry Box School, Witney pupil will now represent the south of England in the national championships at Fulwell, Middlesex on June 22.
