Oxfordshire's Jack Taylor captained England’s Elite Player Development Under 18s team to a nine-wicket victory in one of three internationals against Scotland at Clydesdale CC.
Taylor took 2-20 in ten overs in the first game as England won by three wickets.
He came in at No 8 and hit a huge six off his first ball.
In the second match, Taylor took 3-35 from nine overs to help England to a 70-run victory.
The final game saw Taylor skipper the side to their most convincing victory.
Winning the toss, Taylor put Scotland in to bat, and they proceeded to rip through their opponents batting for just 54.
England then knocked off the runs inside six overs to win by nine wickets.
Taylor said: “It was nice to be asked to captain the side, it was a great experience.
“I didn’t need to bowl in the last game – the seamers did all the work!”
There was even time for a Twenty20 match on the final day, and England won that game as well, by 40 runs.
Taylor, who is playing club cricket at Keynsham near Bristol in the West of England Premier League, now has eyes on a busy summer.
He said: “Bangladesh are touring later in the summer, so there will be an opportunity to play in that, and there’s also a tour to Bangladesh in October and November with a view to next year’s under 19 World Cup.”
