Tommy Hartnett
THE funeral takes place at Greyfriars Church, Iffley Road, Oxford, on Thursday of Cowley Workers player Tommy Hartnett, who died last week aged 75.
Hartnett was well-respected and played for a large number of teams - all at Premier Section level.
They included Fountain, Crown Chalgrove, St Dominics, Prince Of Wales, Horspath, Black Swan and Mason’s Arms Quarry.
The service, at 10.30am, will be followed by burial at Rosehill Cemetery.
