Fourteen-year-old Lloyd Sabin hit a sumptuous 128 that belied his tender years as Banbury 2nd enjoyed a nine-wicket success at home to morning leaders Bourton Vale in Division 2.
Put in to bat, Vale had posted a highly competitive 245-8, thanks in the main to Almuzahim Hamza Saleh (98) and Edward Shaw (65).
But Sabin and his father Andrew (86no) made batting look easy as Banbury cruised to 246-1.

Abingdon Vale paceman James Cook took 6-87 to blast his side to their first win of the season at the expense of fellow strugglers Hanborough.
Cook's career-best performance was backed up by left arm spinner Paul White, who employed his trademark flight and guile to take 4-102 as the visitors were bowled out for 221.
Earlier Vale had posted 250-7 thanks to the in-form Ed Tilley (63) and Graham Coates (56).

Sandford St Martin's decision to field first backfired badly when Long Marston – dismissed for 86 and 72 in their previous two matches – helped themselves to 265-5.
Harry Bowles (59), Mike Lyons (56), Mark Green (47) and Will Dallimore (43) all enjoyed a welcome return to form for the visitors, who nonetheless stay bottom.
In reply, Sandford could muster only 142-6 from 55 overs, of which Martin Anson contributed 60.

An opening partnership of 152 for Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts between Tim Rattigan (81) and Ian Mead (77) took the game away from Great & Little Tew – but only after Rattigan had been bowled off a no ball before scoring.
Nondies ended up on 223-6, which Tew could not come close to as Ed Oakley (5-60) held them in check.
But Rob Garrett's 55 and some stubborn late resistance helped Tew secure a draw on 163-9.
Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 16, Great & Little Tew 8
Aussie import Ben Jones proved his worth to Challow & Childrey by taking 5-20 and stroking a classy 47 as Tiddington were thrashed by eight wickets.
Only Will Cooper (34) survived for long, with leg-spinner Jimmy Phillips (3-23) also bowling well.
Phillips then chipped in with an unbeaten 45 as Challow chased down the target in 22.1 overs, with only two wickets down.
