Defending Premier Section champions Original Swan made a great start to the Summer League with a 7-2 win at home to Section 1 Bicester Football Club.
Jon Jukes (2x180) gave Swan a good start when he defeated Dave Buckingham 3-1.
The visitors hit back to level when Paul Cohen beat Tony Allday 3-2.
Swan then took control and wins from Terry Wood, Pete Smith (180), Tim Tricker (2x180) and Nick Cobb gave them a 5-1 lead, and a 2-1 pairs win gave them a convincing success.
Marston British Legion C (formerly Railway SC A) rattled off a stunning 8-1 victory against newly-promoted College Oak A. Marston raced into a 6-0 lead after the singles and added a 2-1 pairs win.
Honours in the all-Section 1 clash between Littlemore RBL and Rose Hill Community Centre went to the visitors who triumphed 6-3, after drawing the singles 3-3.
North Oxford Conservative Club entertained Section 2 rivals Butchers Arms and the visitors took the opening game when Tony Buckingham (180) beat Matt Brain.
The home side levelled at 1-1 when Sean Holley (180) defeated Alan Cookson.
But that proved to be the Conservatives’ only success as wins from Martin Bull, Ian Moss, Pete Eagle and Mick Kearns, plus a 3-0 pairs win gave them an 8-1 win.
Anthony Barrett gave Railway Social Club D a 1-0 lead over visiting Cowley Workers Social Club, who hit back with wins from Simon Powell and Lyndon Richards, which put them 2-1 up.
Peter Gough beat Phil Cook to level the scores at 2-2.
But the Workers surged ahead again with wins from Wayland Honour (180) and Bob Freemire. And, despite losing the pairs 2-1, Workers held on for a 5-4 win.
Section 3 College Oak B stormed into a 5-0 lead against Quarry Gate thanks to wins from Mike Woodbridge, Neal Lowe (180), Steve Fisher, Jason Hutchinson (2x180) and Shane Paintin.
Quarry pulled one game back when Chris Pollard beat Neil Kiddier. But a 3-0 pairs victory gave College Oak a convincing 8-1 win.
George Bar were all square with Prince of Wales in Section 4 after the singles.
But the George won the pairs 2-1 for a 5-4 success.
