North Kidlington won the Kidlington High Five Netball Festival with a golden goal success against Edward Feild in the final.
The two teams were locked together at 1-1 at full-time of the decider in the competition at West Kidlington School, but it was North Kidlington who came out on top when the golden goal rule came into operation.
Ten teams took part from four schools with four from Edward Feild, three from St Thomas More, two from North Kidlington and one from Dr South’s.
Meanwhile, girls and boys aged under 11 are invited to attend sessions being arranged by Kidlington Netball Club at Gosford Hill School on July 11, 18 and 25 (10.30am to 12pm).
