Five Oxfordshire fighters claimed medals at the EITF European Taekwon-Do Championships in Slovenia.
More than 500 competitors from 28 countries took part in the prestigious event, with four locals scooping eight gold medals between them.
Steve Luker, Ricky DeWinton, Carl Davis, and Kirsty Miller – all from RTA Didcot – were in top form.
Luker won golds in the individual (IV Dan), team patterns and individual power, as well as silver in the individual sparring and bronze in the team sparring.
DeWinton and Davis claimed gold medals in the indivdual patterns (III & IV Dan) and team power categories, along with bronze in the team sparring.
Miller won gold in the team power and bronze in individual patterns (II Dan).
Darren Brinham, from Abingdon, also did well, winning bronze in both the individual and team sparring.
England’s squad (pictured above) finished in fourth position in the medals table, bringing home an impressive total of 23 golds, eight silver and 13 bronze medals.
