Crawley Town have signed former Oxford United midfielder Eddie Hutchinson on a one-year deal.
The 29-year-old was the player inadvertently at the centre of the points deduction fiasco last season, when the U’s were docked five points by the Conference for failing to correctly register Hutchinson, which cost them a play-off place.
Ironically, Crawley and Oxford have swapped competitive, ball-winning midfielders, because ‘Hutch’ joins Crawley just days after Oxford signed Crawley’s Dannie Bulman.
Crawley also completed the signing of former U’s striker Jefferson Louis on Tuesday.
