OCA League Divisions 3 & 4
Omar Hussain was the star of the show as he took 5-14 in Witney Swift’s six-wicket victory at Clifton Hampden in Division 3.
Batting first, Clifton were shot out for 109, Graeme Woodward chipping in with 3-36.
In reply, Swifts eased to the target, with Alan Williams hitting 63 not out.
Broughton & North Newington defeated Kings Sutton by two wickets.
Neil Mepham took 5-12 as Kings Sutton were bowled out for 168.
Steve Denny (49) and James Walton (35) helped Broughton to victory at 172-8.
Oxenford edged past Radley by three wickets.
Tony Jackson (82) saw Radley to 195 all out, Simon Wharton taking 4-37 and Aaron Hirtenstein 4-43.
In reply, Oxenford reached 199-7.
Tim Wyatt top-scored with 68 not out to help Stonesfield to a six-wicket win against Eynsham.
Tim Bowles (42) had seen Eynsham to 175-8, before Wyatt and Ben Redknap (37) shone for Stonesfield to seal victory.
Russell Jeffries hit 89 as West Ilsley rattled up 261-7 against Westcott.
The visitors were then bowled out for 178, Mike Wallace taking 4-36 and Richard Beech 4-50.
In Division 4, East Oxford 2nd cruised to an eight-wicket win against Uffington.
Batting first, Uffington were restricted to 133-9, Tom Wyatt scoring 51 not out and Ejaz Sarwar taking 3-26.
Javeed Faruq (51no) and Khalid Mahmood (30no) then saw East Oxford to 134-2.
Minster Lovell 2nd eased to a six-wicket win at Oxford Rescue.
Phil Spearman took 4-14 as Rescue were restricted to 123-9 from their 45 overs.
Minster were struggling at 7-2, before Ryan Frost (52no) saw them to 130-4 in reply.
Britwell Salome edged past Charlbury 2nd by three wickets.
Tom Nash (55) had seen Charlbury to 186-4, but Bernard Tyler (56), Chris Penny (45no) and Kevin Slater (42) all batted well as Britwell reached 187-7.
