Oxford United will take on QPR – the club they faced in the 1986 Milk Cup final – in a pre-season friendly at the Kassam Stadium on Friday, July 24 (7.45pm) after returning from their short Scottish tour.
QPR finished 11th in the Coca-Cola Championship, and the squad includes ex-U’s striker Dexter Blackstock, who was loaned out to Nottingham Forest for the last six weeks of the campaign.
Oxford United also hope to take on a Premier League side in a home pre-season friendly.
