Robert Green, from the St Birinus Weightlifting Club, Didcot, is a national champion.
Green landed the 62kg class title in the British Youth Championships at Crystal Palace.
It was a good day for the club, with four more members taking medals.
Alex Johnson (50kg) and Eddie Chambers (56kg) won silvers, while James Bywater (50kg) and Josh Cox (56kg) picked up bronzes. The lads are pictured above with their trophies.
