A lot has changed in the past year for Kidlington as this picture shows – but they are determined to keep playing.
Kidlington A defeated Great Horwood 3rd by nine wickets in Saturday’s 45-over-a-side friendly at Stratfield Brake, Martin Eagle hitting 71 not out.
The equivalent home game 12 months ago saw Kidlington lose by six wickets to Finchampstead in Home Counties Premier League Division 2 West.
The club were relegated and then controversially voted out of The Oxford Times Cherwell League.
Kidlington’s leading players have since left, so unsurprisingly none of the XI who featured against Finchampstead faced Horrwood.
