BURNTOAKBOY, winner of the Coral Cup at the 2007 Cheltenham Festival, could line up at the Vale of Aylesbury with Garth & South Berks Hunt meeting at Kingston Blount, near Chinnor, tomorrow.
Richard Newland’s 11-year-old, a winner between the flags last season, has had a break since being pulled up on his only start this term.
His rivals in the men’s open could include Mister Kay Bee, who is chasing a four-timer, and Itsalf, who has won two of his three starts this season.
Honest Endeavour, from Angela Rucker’s Droitwich stables, heads the entries for the ladies’ open, which could also feature course winner Free, Kimble scorer Duchamp and Shammy Buskins, who landed the Southern Grand National at the last Kingston Blount meeting for Sue Harbour, who trains at Emmington, near Thame, and her rider-daughter Emily.
More Trouble, from Alan Hill’s Aston Rowant stables, has a choice of entries in the intermediate and the members’ race, as he chases a hat-trick following wins at Kimble and the last Kingston fixture.
The first of seven scheduled races is 2pm.
