Banbury cruised into round two of the ECB National Club Championship after a nine-wicket victory at Abingdon Vale.
Electing to bowl after winning the toss, Banbury dismissed Vale for 108 in 36 overs, with Ross Freeman (3-15), Ed Smith (2-14) and Jamil Faruk (2-20) doing the damage.
Chris Smith hit 60 not out and and Ian Tew an unbeaten 38 as Banbury reached 109-1 in 28.5 overs.
They will now visit Barnt Green on May 24.
A weakened Oxford side crashed out after a four-wicket home defeat to Knowle & Dorridge.
Oxford were all out for 198 in their 45 overs after electing to bat.
No 9, Sean Oliver top-scored with 43, then took 2-30.
Shami Mendis (40) and Graeme Cessford (36) also contributed, but 71 from former-Glamorgan and Warwickshire man David Hemp helped the visitors to 199-6 with two overs to spare.
