Pablo Haysham hit a stunning winner as Oxford & Cherwell Valley College twice came from behind to beat Henley College 3-2 in the Oxfordshire Under 19 Cup final at Wantage Town.
He received a clearance from keeper Theo Dalton following a Henley corner with 12 minutes left, turned his marker and brilliantly lofted the ball over the stranded Henley keeper.
Dalton then preserved Oxford’s lead with a great double save in the closing minutes.
Henley had taken the lead on the half-hour when Michael Hopkins scored direct from a corner.
Tom Conway then latched on to Lewis Brown’s pass to drill home the equaliser.
However, Henley regained the lead seven minutes later when Dalton’s punch from a corner dropped on the edge of the box and Nick Thompson smashed a cracking volley back past the helpless Oxford keeper.
Oxford equalised for a second time in the 72nd minute when Luke Carnell looped a header over the Henley keeper from Jack Longford’s free-kick.
Haysham then took centre stage with his terrific winner as Oxford regained the cup.
