Nick Collier tried various methods, finishing with 41.2.0 for second place, while Jamie Willoughby was third with 14.10.0 of carp at around four metres with pellet.

Derek Pumfrey triumphed with a bream, plus a net of carp, for 35.8.0.
He started off fishing at 16 metres, alternating with corn and maggot, but then came in close with corn to finish off the match.
Not far behind was Dave Wilsdon with 31.8.0, all carp caught on corn, followed by Colin Manning who used maggot at 16 metres up in the water to tempt 12.12.0 of roach and carp.
The Oxford Canal was very dirty because of the amount of boat traffic last Sunday for the North Oxford AS club match fished at Grovelands by 12 anglers.
Pegged just below the Yarnton Road bridge, Ian Fisher was the clear winner with 5.5.0 of roach and skimmers on liquidised bread and punch.
Two half-decent perch on worm and some skimmers taken on punch gave Anthony Tompkins a second-placed 3.4.0.
