Angling are being asked to keep an eye open for any otter activity during the current close season, writes Andy Webber.
The Angling Trust and the Specialist Anglers Alliance are trying to collate a nationwide map of cases in which otters are having an impact on fisheries.
Once all of this information has come in and can be fully understood, it will be presented to English Nature.
