Oxford Harlequins Under 12s were crowned Oxfordshire champions after defeating hosts Henley for the first time.
Ruairi Van Raalte scored the try as Quins saw off Henley 5-0 in a tense final.
Quins opened up with 30-0 victory over Chipping Norton thanks to a hat-trick of tries from Isa Mohammed, plus scores from Toby Butler and Harry Groves Groves and James Gibbons ran in tries as Quins beat Bicester 10-0, then Ruairi Van Raalte sealed a 5-0 win over Banbury.
Quins’ final pool match finished 5-5 against Wallingford, with Mohammed on target.
Banbury Under 11s retained their county title with an excellent display at Dry Leas.
They began with a 30-0 victory over Abingdon and a 20-0 defeat of Oxford Harlequins.
Banbury saw off Wallingford 25-5 in the semi-finals and Oxford by the same score in the final.
Team manager Simon Grieve said: “The lads’ preparations for their May 16 appearance in the Twickenham finals could not have gone any better.
“There are over 400 supporters from Banbury Rugby Club traveling down for the day and I’m sure every member of the team will rise to the challenge.”
