It's all change for Oxfordshire as they prepare for their EBA Middleton Cup campaign.

Calvin Carpenter has taken over as team manager after Bob Gilkes stepped down last summer following nine years in the job.

And Greg Moon is the new captain, replacing Baden Sparkes.

Following last season’s disappointing campaign, Oxon’s 41-man squad has also undergone a major revamp with 11 new faces included and four players being recalled.

The new recruits are Kevin Alder (West Witney), Richard Barnett (Witney Mills), AJ Docherty and Ian Whelpton (both Banbury Central), Malcolm Edney and Ian Snowdon (both Headington), Steve Gibson and Mervyn Gleeson (both Oxford City & County), Dave Hall (Shiplake), David Sylvester (Henley-on-Thames) and Timmy Warner (Carterton).

Paul Comley (Rover), Jason King (Bicester), Barry Lambourne (Shiplake) and Paul Sharman (Carterton) are recalled to the squad.

Oxon warm up for the cup with three trial matches, starting against Wiltshire at Banbury Central on Sunday (2pm).

Meanwhile, Headington's Nick Rae-Welsh, has been selected for an England trial at Norgren BC, Shipston-on-Stour on Sunday, May 24.

Banbury Central's Carole Galletly, Stella Amos and Caroline Campion will represent England against hosts Jersey in the British Isles Championships preliminary round at Les Creuz BC on Sunday, June 14.

Meanwhile, Galletly and Campion together with Oxford City & County duo Donna Grant and Katherine Hawes have been called up for the England trial at New Lount BC on Saturday, May 16.
