Nuffield Arms lifted the RT Harris Oxford City FA Premier Cup in their first season with a 7-5 extra-time win against Rose Hill.
And they did it the hard way, battling back from 3-0 down.
A double from Damon Spiers and a Steve Simmonds’ header left Nuffield shell-shocked.
Andrew Shellard pulled one back, but after the break, Terry Rose made it 4-1 to Rose Hill.
However, a brace from Mark Mossop and an Aaron Campbell strike ensured extra-time.
Stevie Andrews gave Nuffield the lead, before Mossop’s second double sealed it. Arron Smith (penalty) clawed one back, but it was too late.
In the league, Fairview drew 1-1 at home to Wheatley United with Dan Hartley on target and William Shephard replying.
